REF-131 Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration Process Safety Management
This course provides students with an overview of the OSHA's Process Safety Management standard, EPA's Risk Management program, and Department of Homeland Security's program regulations as well as other safety standards and regulations related to industrial ammonia refrigeration. Topics include OSHA's 14 elements of Process Safety Management, EPA's Risk Management, and the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act. Upon completion, students should be able to explain OSHA, EPA, EPCRA, CERCLA, and Homeland Security compliance requirements as related to industrial ammonia refrigeration.
