Program Description

The Associate in Applied Science in Health Sciences is designed to prepare students for success in today’s evolving healthcare environment by providing a strong academic foundation and clear pathways into healthcare careers. Students complete general education coursework alongside a stackable credential that supports career advancement in a healthcare setting.

The curriculum includes core health sciences courses such as Introduction to Healthcare Careers, Introduction to Health Systems and Ethics, and Healthcare Communication. These courses provide students with an understanding of healthcare roles, systems of care, ethical practice, and effective communication within interdisciplinary teams.
